Stepz Fitness set to expand in 2023

Stepz Fitness has launched its 19th franchise, in Muswellbrook NSW, with plans for further expansion across NSW and the ACT in early 2023.

The expansion includes five new franchises including Lake Macquarie, Rouse Hill and Singleton, with exact locations still in negotiation and a launch into the ACT market.

“We’ve seen dramatic growth in the last two and a half years, this, at a time when our world faced the COVID pandemic and subsequent two years of on and off lockdowns.

The ACT provides an exciting opportunity for Stepz Fitness; it’s growing in popularity for the lifestyle and work/life balance it offers. We are keen to tap into this with our unique boutique business model and have various future sites in mind across the Territory,” says Stepz Fitness CEO Sam Waller.

Stepz Fitness’ plans for rapid expansion in 2023 is thanks to a revolutionary franchise business model that’s provided a competitive edge in an overcrowded market. Becoming more strategic in its selection process and territory mapping, Stepz Fitness is now calling for expressions of interest from new franchisees nationally.

“The new year always signals a new start for many and we will have plenty of opportunity for eager franchisees who want to own their slice of the market. It is an exciting time to consider joining us as we continue to evolve and provide everyday Australians with a successful hybrid model that averages a higher monthly revenue than even the most successful 24/7 gyms in the market (with half the members), and ensures Stepz Fitness remains a convenient and affordable gym for all,” Sam continued.

Stepz Fitness continues to be ranked among the top 10 gym franchises in Australia. Under the direction of Sam as CEO, Stepz Fitness was first in the market to successfully combine a tiered pricing model by incorporating Functional Group Training and 24/7 gym facilities under one roof. This hybrid model is the solution to the low-cost high-volume membership trend faced by competitors in the 24/7 gym industry. The new model now Group Training membership is also half the price of the competition. With rising prices for necessities and inflation tightening the purse strings for many Australians, this hopes to bring a sense of relief and allow Aussies to continue training in a gym setting.
