Lisa is one of Australia’s most versatile, dynamic and well-respected public relations professionals. Her knack for developing newsworthy campaigns, her impeccable industry connections and her savvy marketing knowledge has earned her this reputation. Her dedicated, hardworking and pragmatic approach is second to none.

With more than 20 years of experience, Lisa has worked with a diverse range of clients from major multi-nationals to start up ventures. Her broad industry expertise spans across entertainment, health and fitness, technology, not for profit, retail and more. Brands such as Global Citizen, ABC, Yahoo!, Australian Institute of Fitness, Michelle Bridges 12WBT, Planet Ark, IKEA, News Corp, Sanitarium and the Workplace Gender Equality Agency have all experienced the power of PR under Lisa’s guidance.

Lisa’s commitment and consistency in delivering outstanding results has fostered loyalty and long standing relationships with clients who continue to return to Feature Communications. Lisa actively leads the team and is involved in driving the strategic approach and day to day activity for each and every client.

Mark Henderson

Communications Director

With more than a decade of PR experience under his belt, Mark immerses himself in his work and thrives on engaging with clients and telling their stories. His experience ranges from health, medical, science and legal through to construction, fitness, sport, entertainment, food, technology, social media brands and more.

Mark has worked in Australia, the US, the UK, NZ and across APAC (he definitely has a story or two to tell about pitching stories to non-English speaking countries). He’s been privileged to support clients ranging from independent business owners through to celebrity clients and some of the most recognisable brands in the world.

An ex-journalist, Mark is a storyteller by nature and is always on the hunt for a good yarn. He’s well connected when it comes to media, eager to deliver strategy and always shoots for the stars when it comes to working with our clients.

Vanessa Polimeni

Vanessa Polimeni

Senior Publicist

With over a decade of experience, Vanessa is a well-respected publicist and communications executive with a background in the entertainment, news, fashion and the not for profit sector.

Her career has seen her work with some of the world’s biggest musical acts at Sony Music, while also leading the SKY NEWS publicity and social media campaigns for two Federal elections.

Vanessa’s strengths lie in talent profiling and brand building and she is no stranger to crisis and issues management.

Lily Maxwell

Account Coordinator

Driven by a desire to deliver high-quality work, Lily is focused, detail-oriented and researched in her approach to communications.

Armed with a degree from UTS specialising in Digital and Social Media and Social Political Sciences, Lily leans on these skills along with skills taught in agency on a daily basis. She works closely with Feature Communications’ most senior team members to deliver newsworthy angles and campaigns for our clients; writing, editing, liaising with the media and clients, as well as managing social media strategy and implementation.

Lily’s capability and enthusiasm for delivering high quality work make her a force to be reckoned with, and a champion of the work we do for our clients, and with the media, partners and influencers.

Taylor Troeth

PR Assistant

Taylor is a wordsmith who is driven by an ability to tell stories and to highlight cultural trends that impact today and tomorrow.

With her finger on the pulse when it comes to popular culture and the influencers and celebrities that are shaking things up, Taylor also knows how to work a red carpet, look after the needs of the stars she invites along and knows how to impress.

She brings a unique set of skills in media, performing arts, music and theatre with her to the workplace, applying her knowledge in these spaces along with social media, digital, technology, video and communication skills to the PR world. Taylor is currently completing her Bachelor of Communication in Journalism and Digital and Social Media at UTS.

She also has a wealth of experience in the performing arts and theatre sectors having graduated from Australia’s most prestigious acting school, NIDA and from ED5 international, and performed in theatre shows for more than a decade.

Ryan Chamley

Content Production Director

Ryan leads Feature Communications’ broadcast and digital content production. He is an acclaimed Writer, Director, and the Co-Founder of Robot Army Productions and MILK Video.

Having spent the last decade writing, directing and producing content for web, film, television and the advertising world, Ryan’s passion lies in visual storytelling – getting to the heart of the brand and message in a culturally engaging and impactful way.

In 2017, Ryan made his scripted debut with the viral online sensation “Rostered On”, amassing over 250 million views online and going on to be the first independent comedy to be acquired by Netflix, with a second season being commissioned by 7mate.
