Animated family feature The Neverending Pillow Fort unveils international voice cast featuring David Tennant, Guy Pearce and Teresa Palmer
Crayola Studios, Alceon Entertainment Partners, Eclectik Vision, MIMO Studios and Like A Photon Creative have revealed the international voice cast for their upcoming animated family feature The Neverending Pillow Fort, with Sola Media on board to launch international sales at the Cannes Film Festival.
The Neverending Pillow Fort features a stellar voice cast with BAFTA-nominated David Tennant (Doctor Who, Rivals, Broadchurch) as Murray, Oscar-nominated Guy Pearce (The Brutalist, The King’s Speech, LA Confidential) as Uncle Joe, AACTA nominee Teresa Palmer (A Discovery of Witches, The Fall Guy) as Kerry, leading the adaptation of the hit children’s novel Maggie and Abby’s Neverending Pillow Fort by Will Taylor. Marsai Martin (Black-ish, G20) and Elizabeth Cullen (Elvis, The Last Anniversary) join as Kelly and Maggie, with newcomer Sofia Rose making her feature film debut in the lead role of Abby Hernandez.
The 80-minute film is directed by BAFTA-nominated filmmaker Allison Brownmoore (The Amazing Adventures of Awesome, Take Your Pills) and is currently in production in Australia.
The Neverending Pillow Fort follows best friends Maggie and Abby whose lifelong bond, built on imaginative pillow fort adventures, is tested when Abby returns from camp eager to embrace the real world and new friendships. When their fort reveals a magical ability to transport them to worlds across the globe, the girls embark on a whirlwind adventure that brings them closer again. But as they journey through strange and wondrous places, Maggie must confront the reality that growing up may mean learning to let things change.
