Funlab brings the action on ‘Day of Fun’ in partnership with headspace National Youth Mental Health Foundation

$10 Activities All Day on Tuesday 9 November

Combining charity and cheer for a worthy cause, Funlab, the masterminds behind Holey Moley Golf Club, Strike Bowling, Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq and B. Lucky & Sons are set to deliver their fifth annual Day of Fun on Tuesday 9 November, in partnership with headspace National Youth Mental Health Foundation.

Running since 2017, Funlab’s Day of Fun raises much-needed funds throughout some of Australia’s favourite entertainment venues alongside headspace to assist young people through tough times and help them get back on track. All proceeds from Funlab’s venues across Australia on the day will go directly to headspace National and participating local headspace centres, which provide early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds across the country.

At a time when mental health support and social interaction is more important than ever, Funlab is on a mission to raise and donate more than $200,000 through Day of Fun activities in 2021.

At all of its venues nationwide, Funlab will reduce all activity pricing to $10 per activity for the duration of Day of Fun. Bookings are essential via venue websites and whether pummeling pins at Strike; owning arcades at Archie Brothers; sinking putts at Holey Moley; or trawling for treasure at B.Lucky, Funlab has a Day of Fun activity that is sure to excite and delight after a challenging year.

Michael Schreiber, Funlab founder and CEO says, “Youth mental health initiatives are incredibly close to our hearts at Funlab and it is a genuine honour to support the mental health and wellbeing of young Australians with our fifth annual Day of Fun. Having already raised close to $400,000 to date, we’re committed to raising even more awareness for headspace through our incredible in-venue activities, and the more fun everyone has, the more we can donate to this amazing cause.”

Jason Trethowan, CEO of headspace says, “We are delighted to partner with Funlab, and work together on Day of Fun again in 2021. Funlab’s ongoing support of headspace has made a significant contribution to the mental health and wellbeing of young Australians. We are proud to partner with such an incredible organisation, who, despite a challenging two years, are committed to supporting headspace. I encourage everyone who can to get to their local Funlab venue this Day of Fun to have some fun, connect with friends and family and support the mental health and wellbeing of young Australians.”
